The Ski resort Cerkno is an ideal location for spending unforgetable moments during a school sports week. All the primary and secondery schools from Slovenia that are visiting us every year prove, that the ski slopes are really excellent for beginners and advanced skiers.
Here you will find numerous possibilities for all ages to learn or to improve skiing. In our ski school there is also a carpet lift, which helps to overcome the fear of skiing.
The ski centre Cerkno devotes great attention to families with children. In close vicinity to the top of the ski centre there is a polygon with a carpet lift and a roundabout.
The Kids can be at the warm kindergarten either alone, in the company of their parents and play, draw, watch TV – do a lot of interesting things, which will make your ski holidays an unforgettable experience.

The Ski centre Cerkno with its ski school is valued as a synonym for learning skiing both at local and wider level. Our ski instructors will teach you skiing or snowboarding with professionalism and even more patience.
There is a moving carpet lift in our ski school available, which helps especially beginners to overcome their fear. Several times per season we also organize Ski- and Snowboard courses in groups for children and adults.

At the ski centre Cerkno you can hire world famous skiis and snowboards of high quality and all categories, for beginners, advanced and expert skiers.

The unique location and culinary delights of the alpine Restaurant Alpska perla at the top of the ski centre satisfy even the most demanding guest. Throughout the year special attention is given to local specialities, which are based on local ingredients.
Besides the usual delicacies we offer also other dishes, at our salad bar you will find an abundant selection of fresh salads and we hope to surprise you daily with our dishes fresh from the pan.

For a quick refreshment you are welcome to the Apres ski bar Počivalo located at the entry point of the 6-chair lift Počivalo.
With its offer it will ensure that you will never leave the ski resort, neither hungry or thirsty, even when the ski resort is already closed.
Excellent ski slopes, the most modern and safest skiing facilities, qualitative offer of additional services, at the head with the alpine restaurant Alpska perla at the top of the Skiing centre are the main reasons for beeing the best Slovenian Ski resort in the seasons 2010/11, 2011/12 2012/13, 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19, 2019/20 as voted for by visitors and listeners of Radio Slovenia and at the same time we again received the Award for family-friendly ski resorts.
